Devilscapes

This project creates a narrative of my twisted vision of the poor souls who inhabit Purgatory. Part one of the project is an installation of Devilscapes on found objects that wrap around gallery walls with each object given an area of personal space. Part two are accompanying Devilscapes on canvas that focus on the narrative. The project ran from 1999 through 2000. All paintings have a unique feature of a bright pink underpainting which gives the sky a glowing aura.
