With the wonders that the digital world has to offer the artist these days, I was able to take my fascination with the Doof into the world of animation and movies. As a youngster I wanted to make movies in the worst way. I read books and studied movies (mostly monster movies, the genre of choice). With the aid of my parent’s super 8 home movie camera and some neighborhood friends, I tried my hand at it. I found that it was severely limiting to what I wanted to do. Sound, special effects, editing and titles were all unobtainable for me. I gave up movie making to pursue other interests. Now, with the aid of iMovie, digital cameras and Photoshop, I have made a number of short videos that are here for your enjoyment. If some of the music sounds familiar, it is. You can hear it on my music link. Each video is a quick glimpse into the psyche of the Doof, charting a detailed map of Doof consciousness. Again my thanks goes out to Frank Zincavage, music supreme, for the beats.
